For me, creating a portrait is about more than just capturing a face; I seek to reveal the personality, the aura, and the story behind the person or animal. It is precisely this process of discovery that makes every portrait unique. With my background as an illustrator, I am accustomed to working on commission and collaborating with the client to find the right atmosphere and style. From classical realism to modern and expressive—each portrait takes on a character of its own.
I create portraits using various techniques: graphite pencil, pastel, watercolor, and/or acrylic paint.
Whether it concerns a loved one or a pet, my goal is not only to capture the likeness but, above all, to reveal their character and emotion.

Graphite pencil
A graphite pencil portrait has a timeless, classic appeal. Using subtle shades of gray, contrasts, and refined details, I capture the character of a person or animal. In addition to graphite on white paper, a warm version using brown colored pencil on cream paper is also an option.
Pastel
Soft, warm portraits with rich color and an almost velvety finish. The rich pigments create a stunning color experience, ranging from subtle tones to vibrant, full-color portraits. I create pastel portraits of people and animals on high-quality pastel paper: Pastelmat.
Acrylic paint
An authentic painting on canvas that captures the personality and presence of a person or animal. I paint portraits in acrylics, ranging from realistic and understated to colorful, modern, and expressive.
Price indication for portraits
The price of a portrait depends on the size, the chosen technique, and the level of detail. The prices below serve as a guideline:
Graphite pencil portrait – from €150
Pastel portrait – from €350
Watercolor/gouache portrait – from €400
Acrylic portrait on canvas – from €500
A smaller pencil sketch portrait is available starting at €50.
