For over 30 years, I have been telling stories through imagery. As an artist and illustrator, I am constantly seeking new worlds filled with color, atmosphere, shapes, textures, and surprising color combinations. Painting brings me a sense of calm, warmth, and joy, and I hope my work evokes that same feeling in everyone who views it.

My art encompasses colorful paintings, personal portraits, unique Gelli Arts® monoprints, and illustrations. I first gained recognition with my cheerful ‘Dikke Dames’ (Plump Ladies) series, followed by the colorful ‘Nature’ collection, in which I bring the beauty of the natural world indoors. My background as an illustrator, combined with my experience as a visual artist, forms the foundation of everything I create: art with character, color, and a story of its own.
